The Guyana Energy Agency (GEA) participated as an exhibitor at the recently concluded International Building Expo 2025.

The expo was held from Thursday, August 14 and runs until Sunday, August 17, 2025, at the Guyana National Stadium in Providence, EBD and saw scores of attendees over the four-day period. The event is being held under the theme: ‘The Road to Success, Guyana 2030 and Beyond’.

At the Agency’s booth, in Main Auditorium 1, attendees had the incredible opportunity to interact with the GEA team to learn more about GEA’s ongoing efforts to promote renewable energy, enhance energy efficiency, and support sustainable development across Guyana.

The team had fun highlighting projects and technologies that provide renewable energy to homes and communities, create social, economic, and environmental benefits, promote low-carbon solutions, and show how individuals can contribute to sustainable energy practices.

Additionally, as part of the demonstration process, the Agency displayed its signature Green Home Model/Solar-powered Home Model, while showcasing innovative projects, and sharing how our initiatives are supporting the nation’s sustainable energy transition.
