1. The Government of Guyana has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Caribbean Efficient and Green-Energy Buildings Project (CEGEB project) and intends to apply part of the proceeds towards payments under the contract for the Supply and Delivery of one (1) Electric Vehicle for the Guyana Energy Agency.

2. The Guyana Energy Agency (GEA) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Supply and delivery of one (1) electric vehicle for the Guyana Energy Agency. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request For Quotation ( RFQ) as specified in the World Bank’s ” Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” fifth Edition, September 2023 ( “Procurement Regulations”).and is open supply to all eligible as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

3. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the Chief Executive Officer, Guyana Energy Agency , 295 Quamina Street, South Cummingsburg, Georgetown, Guyana, Email: gea@gea.gov.gy and inspect the bidding document during office hours 09:00 to 16:30 hours at the address given below:

4. The bidding document is in English Language and may be purchased by interested Bidders for a nonrefundable fee of two thousand Guyana dollars (G$2000) from the Cashier at the GEA. Alternatively. interested eligible bidders may download a free copy of the bidding document from the GEA website at www.gea.gov.gy. The method of payment will be cash.

5. Bids must be delivered at the address below on or before September 11, 2025. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representative and anyone who choose to attend at the address below at 9:00 hrs on September 11, 2025.
