On Thursday, November 20, the practical training session on electric vehicle (EV) chargers and EVs was held, under the Electric Vehicle Maintenance and Repairs, and Installation of Solar PV Electric Vehicle Charging Stations programme.

The training was a collaborative effort between the GEA, Board of Industrial Training, IOM Guyana, and UNDP Guyana, and funded by the Joint SDG Fund. Technicians were trained in EV maintenance, solar PV installation, and servicing of EV charging systems.

This initiative supports national efforts to expand renewable energy capacity and promote sustainable mobility.
