INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB) Through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures, specified in the Procurement Act 2003, The Guyana Energy Agency invites eligible bidders to submit their sealed bids for the following:

1. Supply and Delivery of Solar PV Equipment and Freezers for the GEA in Eight (8) Lots – 2025
2. Design, Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Solar Photovoltaic Systems at three (3) buildings in the Hinterland – 2025 Interested bidders may obtain the Standard Bid Solicitation Document (SBSD) from the cashier at the Guyana Energy Agency, 295 Quamina Street, South Cummingsburg, Georgetown from Monday to Friday between 09:00 to 15:30 hours for a non-refundable fee of two thousand dollars (G$2000) each. Alternatively, an electronic copy of the Bid Documents can be downloaded at www.gea.gov.gy at no cost. Bids shall be addressed to: The Chairman, National Procurement & Tender Administration Board (NPTAB), Main & Urquhart Streets, Georgetown and submitted no later than 9:00 hours on February 20, 2025. Note* Bidders are required to (a) enter the bid prices electronically (refer to Excel attachment for Price schedule tables) , (b) print out the completed Price Schedule and (c) include it in the hardcopy submission to NPTA on the day of tender opening. Bidders must submit a soft PDF version for the Price Schedule with the bid submission on the flash drive.
