The OLADE Energy Excellence Award aims to recognize and highlight the efforts of institutions, organizations, communities, and companies from OLADE member countries for their achievements in the rational use and protection of energy resources.
The overarching goal of the award is to spotlight and honour the most innovative initiatives that contribute to sustainable development, energy efficiency, and decarbonization at local and regional levels. It also seeks to promote social, productive, and educational activities that generate a positive impact and can be replicated in different contexts at the various levels.
The projects may be submitted in one of the following categories:
- Decarbonization
- Renewable Energy
